How does your system increase cell phone signal?

The cell phone booster is a device that consists of three main components, external antenna , internal antenna and an amplifier.

The external antenna is usually mounted outside the building where the signal tend be stronger and a cable is routed from it to an amplifier amplifies the captured signal and an indoor antenna connected to the amplifier rebroadcast the amplified signal throughout the building.

Should I get permission from my carrier to install this booster ?
We only carry products approved by the FCC and pre-approved by the carriers so, you do not have to permission or approval form the carrier to install our systems. However every product comes with a card that must be filled out ans mailed to the address given to let the carrier know that you are operating a cell phone signal booster. This is to ensure that, if there is any problem with the tower and the carrier needs to get hold of you, they can.

What if I my building does not allow to install antennas outside?
Not to worry, we have solution for situations just like yours. However there is a requirement of at least 1 signal bar inside the building. If you can get 1 signal bar inside the building the Cel-Fi signal boosters can increase your signal without having to install an outside antenna.

How can I test to see what signal strength I have at my location?

Microcell & Femtocell, How is the signal booster different?

Firstly, our signal boosters also called signal repeaters does not require WiFi signal or cable connection to operate. The Femtocell and Network Extenders do require Wifi signal to enhance signal and this method requires that the Wifi signal be converted to cell phone signal and vice verse. The problem with this is, that the conversion does not happen all the time and results in dropped calls. With the cell phone booster systems, that is not an issue and it works 100% of the time.

Note: Femtocell and Microcell are known to hog bandwidth, reducing your internet speed.

How about commercial systems, can you design for large multi-storied buildings ?

Do I need WiFi signal for the booster system to work ?

No WiFi signal is required unlike solutions offered by Verizon and AT&T. All you need is a power supply.

Can I get longer cable lengths then what is included in your per-configured kits??

Our per-configured kits have a specific length of cable to keep the signal loss minimum due to transmission. However, if you need to absolutely extend the length of cable, then it is recommended to add more cable after the amplification stage. The signal strength in the system is stronger after it has gone through the amplifier then before. So extending the cable after amplifier is a better option.
